Asbestos Surveys

Did you know that, by law, you are required to conduct an asbestos survey of your work premises?

What happens if you don’t comply?

  • you would be in breach of the MDHS 100 regulations
  • your premises could be shut down
  • you could be risking the health of anyone who works in or visits your premises

Reliable, efficient, comprehensive

Forest Environmental will carry out a detailed survey on your behalf to investigate whether there are any asbestos containing materials within the premises – and to assess the level of risk it poses.

There are currently three types of asbestos surveys:

 

  • Type 1 – Location and assessment survey (presumptive survey)
  • Type 2 – Standard sampling, identification and assessment survey (sampling survey)
  • Type 3 – Full access sampling and identification survey. (pre-demolition / major refurbishment surveys)

Once we’ve completed the survey, you will receive a comprehensive report detailing all the results, as well as the course of action we recommend you take.

You can then be confident that:

  • you now comply with the latest legislation
  • your building poses no asbestos-related risk (once the remedial action is complete)
