Asbestos
Surveys
Did you know that, by law, you are required to manage the asbestos within your work premises?
What happens if you don’t
comply?
- You would be in breach of Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006
- You could be risking the health of anyone who works in or visits your premises
Reliable, efficient, comprehensive
Forest Environmental will carry out a detailed survey on your behalf to investigate whether there are any asbestos containing materials within the premises – and to assess the level of risk it poses.
Forest Environmental are a UKAS accredited inspection body, No 343. And as such Forest Environmental undergo a rigorous and ongoing assessment to ISO/IEC 17020 for an asbestos surveying organisation to ensure:
- the organisation is impartial
- employs technically competent staff
- has the appropriate resources and facilities
- performing to the required high standard
Current Guidance (HSG264 Asbestos: The Survey Guide) identifies two different types of survey. The type of Survey will vary during the lifespan of the premises and several may be needed.
