BAA

Forest’s professional approach and commitment to innovation and high working standards has awarded us framework contracts for works throughout all south east airports. These works have ranged from Asbestos removal and Environmental Maintenance projects to Duct Cleaning and fire protection.

To comply with the demanding requirements of the BAA safety team, all works were carried out after careful planning and consultation with the client. It has sometimes been necessary to crane all scaffolding, plant equipment and site accommodation to roof top level in certain hazardous areas.

Heightened security measures at BAA airports means that all personnel must be screened and security cleared prior to working on the airport. Our fleet of company vehicles were also modified to meet strict guidelines. In addition to our extensive training programme, all Forest Environmental operatives who work at BAA airports undergo specialist airside training to ensure works are carried out safely. This aids the continuation of the high standard we aim to achieve at all times within the industry
